William Eckert

William (Al) Eckert, (Board Secretary) is an attorney with First National Title and Quattlebaum, Grooms & Tull PLLC in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He is an environmental attorney with twenty years’ experience with state regulatory agencies. Now in private practice, Al represents clients on environmental issues, conservation easements, and land use issues including regulatory requirements involving culturally significant and archaeological properties, and endangered species issues related to property development.

Al attended Hendrix College and graduated from the University Of Arkansas School Of Law in 1978.  He was recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency, Region VI, Criminal Investigation Division, for contributions to environmental criminal enforcement in 2001 and serves as a member of the Environment, Energy and Resources section of the American Bar Association.

Al and his family enjoy hiking the Arkansas state’s trail systems. Al brings to the board both broad and specific knowledge related to environmental issues and is excited to work with other individuals with similar interests in Arkansas and Missouri to contribute to the future maintenance and protection of this great outdoor resource.
