Dr. Bob Morgan recently retired as the Manager of Environmental Quality at Beaver Water District in Springdale, Arkansas, and also served as adjunct faculty in the Biological Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville teaching hydrogeology.
Previously, Dr. Morgan worked for the State of Arkansas’ Soil and Water Conservation Commission where he developed and implemented the State’s first nonpoint source pollution management program. He holds a B.S. Degree in Education, and a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
Bob is a co-author of “Ecological Engineering Design: Restoring and Conserving Ecosystem Services”, a manual on ecological design principles for engineers. His professional and personal interests include preservation of natural landscapes, conservation of natural resources and study of the history of resource management in the region, which he brings to the Ozark Land Trust.
