Connie Johnson

Connie Johnson has been a teacher, a real estate broker and a tree farmer.  She owns a 569 acre certified tree farm which is protected by an Ozark Land Trust Conservation Easement. Connie has been involved in tree farming for over 30 years serving as Missouri Tree Farm Chair in 1995 and 1996.  She received her BA Degree from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri.

Connie grew up in rural Marshfield, Missouri where she enjoyed living in the country, scouting and 4-H activities. She has a passion for preserving special land and places from development.  Connie wants future generations to be able to experience large and small tracts of undisturbed lands.

Connie serves on the OLT board to bring the perspective of the conservation donor to the board.   She feels it is important that each easement fits into the long-range plan, and that every donor and future owner understand the importance of maintaining the standards of the easement.
