We steward over 30,000 acres of working lands, forests, watersheds, nature preserves and other critical natural resources in the Ozarks. Your support allows us to continue this essential work and to partner with landowners across the region to conserve even more lands for future generations.

We are proud to announce that we've officially received our accreditation from the Land Trust Accreditation Commission! The accreditation is designated by the placement of this seal on our website and materials.
According to the commission, "The accreditation seal is a mark of distinction in land conservation. It is awarded to land trusts meeting the highest national standards for excellence and conservation permanence. Each accredited land trust completes a rigorous review process and joins a network of organizations united by strong ethical practices. This trusted network of land trusts has demonstrated fiscal accountability, strong organizational leadership, sound transactions and lasting stewardship of the lands they conserve."
Thank you to all of you who have worked with us over the years to help make this possible. We look forward to continuing the good work expected of land trusts who bear this seal!

OLT has a long track-record of successful land conservation in the Ozarks particularly with conservation easements on large farms and forests. These lands remain in private ownership, but their conservation values and scenic qualities are now protected in perpetuity.
OLT also owns more than 4,300 acres of nature preserves and sustainably managed forests. Most of these lands are open for exploration upon request. With some, like Kress Farm (below), are open to the public!
As advocates for land conservation, we share the passion of our members. Take a moment and listen, in their own words, what makes the Ozarks so special to them.
